i have a 98 tacoma and i was wondering if the 99+ tail lights would fit the 98. for some reason i like the textured tail lights more... with the grooves and all.... has anyone done this?

If you are speaking of the 01 and later lights yes they bolt right in with two longer screws. I have them on mine, they look great.

I got them off a guy from Pirate 4x4, but you can get them off Ebay as well.

FYI: '95.5-'00 used the same style taillights while the '01-'04 used the bubble style taillamps.
