Passenger side taillight doesn't light. Brake light, turn, reverse all work. I tried swapping the left and right housing units, same thing...so not the bulb or housing.
Electrical test shows a ground continuity of the power wire for that right taillight, and if I jumper the power from the left to the right it blows the fuse. I unpacked as much of the wire shroud as I could for now, no signs of damage/short anywhere. Unfortunately the Chilton manual doesn't have the wiring diagram w the taillight, just brakes/turn, but following the power wire it appears the passenger side power is fed off the driver side, which any short would therefore affect but driver side works normally, and again, directly jumper wiring the two causes a short. It's an 01 Tacoma. Any ideas?
