Pretty much what the title says.

Especially when I take off from a standstill, and sometimes when I'm going down a bumpy road there is a tapping I can feel through the gas pedal.

I can't really hear it, and I don't feel it through the seats or anything else.

My current theories are the exhaust or motor mounts. I've never heard of anyone mentioning failed motor mounts, so when I crawl under the truck tomorrow the exhaust will be getting a close inspection.

Anyone ever had similar symptoms?

The only thing I can think of that is that close to the skinny pedal is the Rack and pinion, sway bar, or maybe the steering shaft. I have a similar noise on my 99, it only occurs when I am braking and the suspension drops, I can feel this in the drivers side floor also.

Maybe some wiring harness is loose under thew dash, and bumping it a little. Or, the same in the engine compartment. I have a rattle that always comes back from this in my chevy. I try to isolate it, and a month or so it sneaks up again. Also, check that the brackets for the pedal are tight. It could be a loose connection.

It feels more significant then a wiring harness. It's a tapping feeling, but it feels like something heavier moving around and the tap is traveling down the throttle cable.

That's my theory anyway...
