The TRD has the rear locker (make sure it is there - button on the left side of the dash)
If I didn't mind autos, I would go with the double cab. There isn't much room in the "extra" part of the xtra-cab. Check CV boots/axles/steering rack for leaks.
Well, I'm selling my samurai, paying off the wifes car, then selling my 86 toyota turbo truck and buying a tacoma. I'm finding the TRD's might be out of our price range, not sure yet. We plan on coming up to Portland when we're ready to buy and looking up there as they are cheaper and more abundant up there.
If a TRD isn't within our pricerange, then there is always the ARB option.
Thanks on the 90k mile service. Any inherant problems w/ the V-6? Or the Auto transmission?
