I think I have isolated my high idle to a sensor on the throttle body. I remember reading a couple nights ago that if the Idle Air Control valve was bad that you could tape up the hole in the throttle body to tell. Well I taped up the first hole before the butterfly in my TB and my idle was perfect. So my question is that is that the IAC directly on the bottom of the TB and if it's not what is it and why would taping up the hole that leads to it fix my high idle. I have a 3.4L.
