If you dont want to put any lift on your rig, you probably dont want to go over a 265/70/16 tire and deffinitly don't want to go over a 8 inch wide wheel. If you get a 10 inch wide wheel, it will rub when you turn. If you want your wheels to stick out some, go with 3 5/8 backspacing.
Tires and Rims
Hello....a newbie here and have a question about tires and rims for my 04 taco prerunner v6. I wanted to upgrade my tires and rims without lifting the taco. I am looking into getting the MT Classic II rims. Will the 16 x 10 too wide and what tire size should I get? I want the tires to stick out a little bit. Can someone explain to me what the word "BACKSPACING" is. I enjoy browsing this site. There are a lot of stuff to learn here. Thanks
