I just bought a 98 TRD. When purchased they put new 30X9.5 tires on. I think these things are too small, am I correct??? My speedometer reads 10 mph high so it will say 85 when I am really going 75. Next when I am cruising 75 it is at like 3,200 maybe 3,300 RPMS a little high for me. Should I just get some new tires put on or what. Oh and my axle code is BO3A I am 99% sure that is what it is any way. Just wanted to see what you guys thought. Should I go with 31 or 32's if these things are to small? Thanks in advance.

the 30.95 tire is a bit smaller diameter than the 31x10.5 tires that would have come on your truck therefore giving you a bit lower gear ratio than the stock 4.10 which likely came on your truck - like ike said, 31s will get you back to normal.

30x9.5 is small for the trd trucks. thats why. if its really bothering you and you dont want to get new tires you can get the speedometer calibrated to match the tires size. my truck is at about 3grand at 75 mph with the 4:10 gears. i think truspeed makes a calibration kit for around 200$ or so dollars?
