I'm looking for a tonneau cover for my new-to-me '03 Extra Cab Straight-side 6.2 ft bed Tacoma. I wish I could just take the one off of my other truck and put it on this one, but the other one is a Step-side so the bed is narrower.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Are they generally universal fit based on bed size or vehicle specific?

I was hoping to be able to find a used one from someone somewhere but nobody seems to be selling any. It's weird.. you'd think a truck this old would have tons of spare parts being sold used since there probably have been so many crashed by now.

I may just end up ordering a generic one on Ebay for like $140 with shitty buttons.

No. Just the cheap kind that have buttons all the way around the edges and you can roll them up and store them. The retractable ones cost a ton and I don't want to spend that much on a cover.

In case you haven't bought one, you might want to check out the Undercover Flex Tonneau Cover. I recently ordered their folding tonneau cover. It was very easy to install and it's very durable.

I’d go this route.... good quality and you can still use the bed.
