I'm looking for a toolbox that sits inside the bed, and below the side rails of the bed. Anyone have one, or know of a model that is low profile like that?

Just look in the yellow pages for a company that sells them near you. If you go there then they will usually even try them in your bed so that you can see if it fits like you want. I bought mine at Autozone and they tried the one I wanted before I bought it.

Tractor supply company(or somewhere like that) sells them. They come in black and are pretty heavy duty. I picked up an RV chest from somewhere else a long time ago for 300 bucks and I don't even use it anymore.

The Delta 36" portable chest fits nicely. Mine sticks up a hair above the bedrails due to a drop-in bedliner.

What are the Deminsions of your Box? mainly depth "not height" im assuming it is 36" wide.
