Pretty hard to feel sorry for that cop if he gets shot on duty.^^^^
I wouldn't mind if he got some street justice.

There's a special place in hell for assholes like that. I'd think something should happen to the assholes instead of just waiting around for Karma and fate to do justice. They need their asses thrown into the can. It's not an easy life in prison for an X cop nor should it be. There's nothing I hate more than a bad cop or anyone else who abuses their authority and the public's trust. If I had my way we'd stand them up againt a wall in front of a firing squad, blow thier shit away and be rid of them. When they commit their crimes it's not against an individual or even a group of individuals, it's against all of society in total. It's a crime against all law and the sum total of society.

I'm not seeing factual proof of any abuses.
Looks more like the detainee abused himself.

any douche can file complaint of abuse
but that doesn't prove it true.

But it would seem as if the Po Po obstructed justice
by denying the existence of the requested video.

I don't like bad cops either...
but I do believe in innocence until proven otherwise.

I reserve judgement pending further evidence.

The cops hid the video for a long time and denied it existed. When it was finally found 6 minutes had been deleted. However the cop can be seen shaking his dck like you do after you finish pissing. Having cops denied it existed and then it turning up is good enough for me they lied from the start. People with nothing to hide don't lie. Toronto police are as corrupt as a force can be. Their boss is a crackhead...sht rolls down hill...do the math.
BTW this is only the tip of the iceberg of Toronto police corruption, I grew up in that city and nobody had faith in the police. Its gotten worse over the years.
I am no cop hater/criminal and have never even been charged with a criminal offence, I just can't stand douchebags with a badge.

Just to show you why nobody has faith in them :

faith, or lack of... is not evidence

I don't see no penis shaking in the wind.

It clearly states that the jail house camera utilizes a motion sensor

I'm not saying that the claimed act wasn't erased...
but that needs be proven first.
It's not that difficult to prove a video was tampered with.

The fact that it was denied to exist at all...
is an obstruction of justice, ignoring the rights of that individual.
Seems he would have a "denial of rights" case...
tho' I'm not so sure about the urinating/abuse claim.

IMO...

a peaceful protest does not include antagonizing law enforcement.
Yeah... "in their face" pushing and shoving causes further aggravation.
The Po Po are there simply to keep people at peace and behaved.
^ something humans seem to lack when angry and hostile

Detaining someone for being overly aggressive is not evidence of a crime...
That requires an address/prosecution by the courts or a judge.
And that is when the accused should prove otherwise.

Addressing a complaint (protesting) should be done lawfully and respectfully.
No one should suffer injury... not even the Po Po

Fault lay within your political leadership...
and I'm willing to bet your society has a proper recourse for that.

Somebody in the leadership role needs to be fired, recalled
while utilizing whatever process is available to the public there.

^ without aggression or violence.

Glad I live in the US...
where there is less violence

I guess your society is not immune :neener:

Toronto is our most American like city and that explains why growing up there I had no problems visiting and enjoyed Buffalo and Detroit.
Toronto has North Americas busiest highway (yes more so than hell a). White people are a visible minority in Toronto and obtaining anything from illegal like handguns or automatic weapons is just a matter of $$$.
Toronto police are corrupt like jersey back in the 70's. This is well known by anyone from Toronto and polls show up to %70 of Torontonians don't trust the police. This is unlike anywhere else in Canada. Toronto is the 5th or 6th largest city in North America and is more American like than Canadian. Maybe that's why I like you gun slinging lawless Americans ;) I grew up in a slice of America in Canada. A demographic that causes most of your violence down there don't like the cold here and are absent because of that.
I left that city when my wife got pregnant 27 years ago (no place to raise kids IMO) and never looked back. I moved to rural Ontario (Pleasantville) where %95 of the people are the same demographic as me. The local police are my neighbours and friends and there are no police issues here (citizens like them here, we trust them, me included). The G20 fiasco has meant tons of successful law suits against the police costing taxpayers millions and made a mockery of police and citizens respect/trust. Its a sad state (pun intended).
Wearing a badge hear means nothing to me and earns none of my respect cause deeds speak. The deeds of Toronto police speak poorly of their conduct and discredits the badge.
Its a reality I have learned from personal experience. The deeds make the man, not the badge.
