Is there an adapter out there that allows you to bolt a 4cyl toyota 5spd tranny to a 4.3 chevy motor?

I wonder if there's one to bolt up the new Taco 6-speed to a 3.4 in my '00? Wouldn't that be nice...

Why not just get the new 4.0 too?

There is a guy on ih8mud that made an adapter to mate the taco 6 spd to the 4.5l I6 in his FZJ80

I imagine it won't be long before we start seeing the 4.0 put in older truck.
The 4.0 in my wife's 4Runner is really nice, course I know Yoda has the gearing, tranny, programming etc just right. But if a man could put that in a 1st gen runner!!! WooooWhoooo!!!

depends on what type of hybrid you want. The 20/22 is easy..it's the Prius swap that may be a little difficult!!
