OK enlighten me?? why does a 2.5" - 3" spacer lift make the ride so much worse the coil is still lifting the same weight geometry changes alittle can't be much once things are aligned. Just trying to understand to make an informed decision.
just looking for a nice daily driver without costing a arm and a leg.

When the truck is just sitting the ride isnt affected at all. Its when the suspesion begins to compress that it gets stiffer. This is becuase to get the tire to stuff all the way the spring has to compress an extra amount, whatever size the spacer is. So for any given ride height lower than static, with the lift, the spring is compressed more than it was prespacer, so the spring is stiffer. This is espically true on TRD Offroad where they are progressive springs that get stiffer as you compress anyways.
