Not sure if this belongs in this section. Are the A43D transmissions ('99 tacoma, 2.4l, 2wd) interchangeable with the A340E trans? I can get an A340E pretty cheap. I've got a 99 tacoma with an ill tranny and would like to know what my options are. A 5-speed conversion would be ideal but a bit cost prohibitive at this point. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
