How soon do you need it? I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow so I won't be able to work on my truck for a while. But I am getting ready to SAS and will have the entire front end available. Hopefully be able to be cutting in late March or early april. If you can wait that long

I'll take both axles either way (good or not) if I don't find one before then..I'll let you know if I do find one

That will work! in all actuality, the CV's are in good shape, I was under my truck a few days ago cleaning up my sliders and I specifically looked at both CV's and all boots, they all look good.

Here is my email address, in case you can't find something soon. [email protected]

When you decide we can talk price then. I may be willing to pull the shafts early if you need them quick. but like I said before it all depends on my neck surgery tomorrow. But I don't think I will mind running "pre-runner style" for a short period. I might be able to work a deal with a buddy to pull them for me if need be.

That's cool, except you'll have to keep them in until your teardown..You can't run an ADD truck with no axles, the wheel bearing will self destruct at least..and then the wheel/hub assy will leave your presence..I just need trail spares for me and a friend..

my CV boot tore during a road trip and I drove 500 miles and for sure dumped all that grease.

What is the going price for getting this replaced, and do they just replace the boot, the whole unit?

And can I put manual locking hubs to have the CV's not spin while driving?

How much do those run?

1. You can get the boot replacement kit from Toyota for about $25.00 (P/N: 04438-35060).

2. Offroad Solutions Manual Hub Conversion Kit.. You can also find someone with manual hubs doing an SAS and buy their front end.
