Does it have the Elocker?flyingwil said:Does any one know how to determine weather a Taco is a TRD or Regular? I think there should be a way of determining it thru the VIN number but how? This is for an '01 DC Taco...
Thanks1
I did do a search. I am looking at picking this truck up for a buddy of mine, it has a fabtech 6" lift and has been heavily modified, most odf the stock compnents are not there. Thanks for all the input this far. I understand that the TRD package is an Option and might not reflect in the VIN, so in this case all I have to look for is if it is an open or locked diff correct?themariachi said:
More specifically, you're looking for the Electric locker rear end..Look for a "rr diff lock" button left of the steering column, and just to verify look at the drain plug on the rear end housing..Looking at it from the rear it should point to the left, or drivers side if it's an "E-locker".flyingwil said:I did do a search. Then it doesn't have a stock E-locker rear end..Rear end swapped for an open with a Lockrite maybe??the C said:what if it has a rr diff lock button, but the drain plug is on the right of the housing....
