I dont have the kit, but from what I have read it definitely seems pretty solid. The ony downside that I can see is the lack of bumpstop mounts.

I've had that lift for about 3 months now and really like how it turned out. The blocks that come with it, and every other drop bracket lift, ride like shit. From what I've gathered, Fabtech's 6 in. and TC's 5 in. are the best designed and most solid. A difference in the two is that Fabtechs is arch up in the middle, which gives you better clearance, and TC's is not. However, TC connected the front and rear sections of the bracketry, which makes it stronger. But if you wanted too, you could add round tubing between Fabtech's two brackets.

Did anyone actually get 5" of lift from the TC lift. I have a TC lift on my Tundra. There isn't a part in it that measures over 4". After I installed it, I got exactly 4" of lift. Imagine that. You can measure your coil spacers and the eye to eye distance on the cradle to get the expected lift amount. I also welded on my own bumpstop extensions and use the factory bumpstops.

I have had mine for about 9 months. I like it, mostly, but have had a few relatively minor issues. It does flex really well, and the rear blocks don't seem to cause wheel hop problems.

Both of the sway bar drop brackets broke at the upper bend. TC replaced them. After looking at the replacements, the originals were bent too sharply.

I keep smacking the crossmember on rocks.

You will need to space the rear shocks inboard slightly to avoid denting them with the leaf spring at full articulation. Somewhere there is a writeup for this mod. Very simple using bushings and washers to move the shock inboard about 5/8". Here's the link: http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/minutemods/tacoma_shocks/

I found better washers on the McMaster Carr site that were smaller OD the the ones in the writeup, which eliminated cutting for clearance. PN 3088 A514 (steel shim .125 thick, .75 ID, 1.125 OD) They are more expensive but I couldn't find proper washers at Home Depot. The bolts are hard to find as well.

It was, and is, very creaky. I think I have a bad lower control arm bushing. Small movements create this very loud creak, at low and high speeds. Very embarrassing driving through parking lots and at stop lights. Shooting it with grease or teflon stops it for about two days.
