Well this weekend a few buddy’s went to Jtree, the weekend was great a few fawked up trucks but good fun. Well both of my Bilstiens 5100 blew and crushed my stock bump stops pretty badly. http://www.prerunners.net/members/photos/Picture 002_1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_full.jpg
Well I hope the shocks replaced for free, now for my bumps! I was thinking I should cut them off and find a way to put a set of poly bumps in there. Will that work? If so please post pics of how you mounted up yours! So any help will be great.

sounds like you got the wrong length shocks for them to do that...too long.

If you did that to your bump stops, I wonder what is the condition of your front frame rails.
or the rest of the frame, the motor mounts, the entire front end, etc, etc. ;)

stock Tacomas are NOT designed for that kind of abuse.

Seriously bro, you need to go throught the bed and go all out with that thing if you are going to beat it like that.

Plenty of people can afford to be without their trucks when they break. If you are one of these people, then more power to you.

In the end, however, you will spend less money if you buy the hardcore shit than if you keep trying to fix the stock shit.
