Hello All,
I've been reading here alot, but this is my first time posting. I have searched on this topic for a while, but I ever found exact confirmation on my situation. Currently I have the stock 15" x 7" rims on my 94 4x4 Pickup and the stock size Dunlop 225 75r 15 tires.
I can get some alloy rims here in the middle east very cheeply!! I'm talking 4 for the price of one in Canada! And tires to boot.
So here is my question: I believe I can go for the 16x8 rims and run 265 70R 16 LT tires without a rub? These tires are equivilent to a 31x10.5x16. I had that size on my last truck (83) and they seemed to work fine.
Any thoughts? The only reason I ask, is I don't want to buy these and ship them to Canada when they rub or don't fit. Just being cautious.
