on front diffs with the vacume style add there are two vacume lines coming out of the diaphram on the diff (when suction is added to one side or the other it moves the fork inside). the tubes goto a solinoind, then vacume canister. My question is on a stock system when you activate one of those solinoids and it provide suction to move the fork. does the solinoid stay open and is there constant suction? or does the solinoid open long enough for the fork to move and then close?

trying to figure out how to wire this up (4x4 conversion) thanks alot

Yup, I just wired up a switch for my vac selnoids. Just used a simple DPDT switch that activates one selnoid at a time. I just leave the switch on to provide positive power to the selnoid for the entire time.
