Pulled my head and did a little leak down test and found that I have some leaky exhaust valves (as expected). I already have new valves that i can drop in, but my question is... Can I just lap the valves and drop them in? Or do I really need to machine the guides and valves? Shop is quoting over $300 for the job so I'm wondering if i really need to do the machining.

Well I went ahead and just slapped in the new exhaust valves and they are sealing up just fine (performed another leak test). Just one more exhaust valve and i'm good to go!

I really know nothing about this stuff... just going off of the FSM really. Hopefully i can put everything back together okay =D.

I wonder how much power I'm going to gain from this... Cylinder 3 was down to 50-60psi!
