How yellow do you want and are you supplying paint and clear? Oddly enough I painted our shop truck today... It's now wearing 2004-2009 NSX New Indy Yellow because I can. Pics to follow...

How soon are you wanting this done? After reevaluating my projects, it'll be a while until I can clear up some shop space for another project.

I need to get a "back together" pic of this; it turned out really well. I may be in trouble at work for almost taking today off without notification, so if I get fired I'll have a LOT more free time to work on everything sooner than later... we shall see.

It sucks because I love my job and the people I directly work with, but I loathe the stupid corporate BS that trickles down and fucks up my job as well.

Good luck, I deal with the same BS.

Where are you located? Ever paint any toppers?

You're all making me seriously consider leaving my steady job to open an actual shop (instead of the one I rent now).

Hm............

Anyone know how much a simple paint job would cost?

I do not want anything shinny in fact stain green that my 4runner is without the clear is all I want. Is there still the Maco specials of $200 or something.

Base color needs a clear coat but DuPont (and most companies I guess) make an additive that makes the clear flat. We did this on my last manager's Mustang; it doesn't look too bad, just odd.

This was his last day of work, the hood was from craigslist because he f'd up the original trying to make it into a cowl and the pony is there because I can.

See? Not shiny but it still has a clear coat on it. You only get one shot at doing it right because dirt/runs/dry spots can't be buffed out... 'cause it's flat. Ask how I know... :(

I don't know of any paint specials running now; there's the Maaco on Nevada/Garden of the Gods or off of Platte by the Shitadel Mall, but it may cost just the same anywhere you go. Paint's expensive.

Another manager backed into another lot truck:

...so I painted that too and added a few extra touches:

And now I can't find a pic of it back together... just the first one:
