I need to get a website up and running - my girlfriend and I are going to breed our beagles. Anyone have any experience with GoDaddy or any other "websites for dummies" service?

I used GoDaddy to buy the domain name for ohttora, seemed to work pretty well and be straightforward. Didn't use their authoring/hosting service though.

There are several people on here who are web developers - they probably know more full featured and cheaper options.

I bought hosting through "hostmonster.com" about 2 years ago for an insane deal.

They were running a special, cheapest i could find, and they have been solid.

I don't know if they offer good deals now, but when i bought a domain and hosting for 2 years it was the best in the industry at the time. Would be worth checking out.

A buddy of mine has used DreamHost for a couple of years and seems to like it a lot.

I use ehostpros.com for hosting all my websites and develop them with iWeb. With iWeb anyone can whip up a simple website in under an hour.
