What are some suggestions for getting 3" up front with an ARB/winch combo to fit 33" tires (some rubbing okay)? I would like to stay away from a drop down bracket kit because of $$$. Any suggestions/first hand knowledge is appreciated.

I run the extended length DR's set to ~3.5" with Total Chaos A-arm but only run 32"sM/T's. I have synthetic line or it would sag more than it is now. I lost 1/4" with addition of the winch alone. With all the weight the ride is not too harsh at all. 33"s should fit no problem being that mine have good clearance on full lock/compression. Just watch what backspacing you get or the 33"s may rub. I want to say my B.S. is 3.75" but don't hold me to it.

So you basically have the DR's cranked all the way up? If so how does it ride? Any coil slap? What about the regular length DR's? Could I get just as much lift with them so that I would not have to run new A-Arms? Right now I am running the 3" Revtek spacer with just the bull bar and no winch, yet. But I am afraid when I put the winch in it will sag a ton. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, Jason

If you want the cheap way, just stick it with your 3 inch spacer and go with a slightly longer and much stronger coil.

The ride is good since there is around 250lbs extra up there. It handles way better over stock and has a firmer feel on/off road. The design of the coils having less wraps prevents coil slap. The collars are adjusted to about an inch over what the come from the factory so it isn't like a set of cheap springs where you have to really compress it to get the lift. I run the extended length for the extra travel they have but you should be fine with the regular DR's. Just a word of caution, you will lose one inch of downtravel for every inch you go up. You also should look into manual hubs to prevent regular CV boot changes when you reach these heights. Over all I would do it all again.
