Gonna be swapping out my stock 4.10 third with another holding 4.56's and I want to know what install kit you guys suggest. We're just pulling one and putting the other in, no rebuilding here. The truck has 128k on it but doesn't seem to have any leaks in the rear end at all.
Thanks
Jason

IF you are just swapping third members-
than all I would suggest is :
RTV/ FIPG
rear axle seals (since you are pulling axles out )
as well as new fluids (Gear oil & brake fluid if you disconnect the brake lines)

new carrier side bearing would be recommended if there are 128K miles on the diff
But that is all you should need as long as each R & P stay with the original diff & housing

Well if its just swapping third members, then you just need some RTV to seal things up and a few quarts of gear oil to throw back in. Not much more to it.
