I have a 1998 4Runner SR5, 4x4, auto v6, no rear locker. It's all stock right now and my right rear shock broke today so I may as well Upgrade while replacing. I've driven a few tacomas and a tundra with Bilstein kits but I can't find a kit for the 3rd gen 4runner. I want a soft ride that can handle moderate loads for camping. I'd like maybe a 1"-2" moderate lift, no 3" lifts cause I don't want to put that much bind on my front CV axles. The tundra I drove had bilstein 5100's and I've driven a few TRD baja editon tacomas cause I was a tech at a toyota dealership.

Anyone have any suggestions for soft shocks?
