I am sure this question must have been asked many times, but my search found no answers.
It is time for me to change the plugs on my 2.7L 4-cylinder 98Xtd 4x4.
I have NGCs in there now. For some reason when I tried the Toyota Platinums they caused severe miss-fires.
So what plugs do people think give the best performance? Thanks.

I run the NGK platinums w/o any problems
I used to run just the stock plugs
I also bough the new NGK performance wires as well(blue)

Do the platinums just last longer, or is there a performance gain?
I changed my wires about only about 20k miles ago, so I'm probably not going to to add a wire change to my list. But I would love to see a way to increase performance.

i changed my wires at 60K with some cheapy AutoZone specials, they sucked
I replaced them with the NGKs at 100K, no problems at all
