i have decided to give myself a budget for my next mod when i get my taxes back and was wondering what everyone else might do with $200. i have 4" blocks in the rear, so i was thinking maybe less block and some shackles, or a rear shock relocation. so many things...let me know what you guys think.

Do you wheel? I'd ditch the blocks for an aal/shackle combo. Or you could get a set of sliders ($175 will get you a do-it-yourself kit that you would have to weld). You could get a used locker, a t-case skid plate, or a twin-stick setup :D Basically there's tons of stuff, but you kind of have to tailor your purchases for the specific need you're trying to meet.

ditch the blocks. like the other guy said you could go for a shackle/aal combo but id suggest saving another 200-300 and buy a new leaf pack. also depending on what shocks youre running now, you might wanna get new ones to accomodate for the gained travel with that new leaf pack.

Unless you're really, really itching to do something to your truck, set it aside for a Truck Mod Fund, I spent a lot of money on little, useless shit, that could've added up to the cost of a re-gearing/locker install.

I agree with everybody lose the blocks. That could cost way more than 200 if the bust out. I felt so much better once I got rid of mine.

save that shit till you get a couple more hundred, ditch the blocks like everyone else has already stated, but if your comfortable with them than keep them and buy something like a line-X'd bedliner

Ditch the blocks. I had 3.5" blocks in the rear and swapped them out 2 weeks ago. I replaced with 1.5" deaver AAL($60) and 2" shackles ($80). You could get something like that and be well under $200, plus, if you were like me, it will improve your ride, articulation, and there won't be as much axle wrap.
that's my 2 cents.

i need atleast 6" of lift in the rear which is what i have now with a 4" block, and a 2" AAL. the blocks worry me, so i agree with all of you that i need to ditch the blocks. at the moment i cant afford a new leaf pack, so maybe saving for one is the best idea. the blocks are the only thing keeping me from doing the type of wheeling i want and it is really frusterating.

Well, I was sort of joking. I would suggest getting something that pertains to lifting if you are not done with that yet. But, I did get myself an HID kit for my truck and love it. I did spend $500 installed for the full kit and it is worth every penny. The lighting is incredible and twenty times better than stock. Mind you it is not for long range view but the peripheral and normal length vision are way better.

give it to me!!!! lol. go to a strip bar, buy some beer, do somethin useful with it!! ha ha. just a couple ideas. or, you could do like everyone else said and ditch the blocks, or keep em, and get some traction bars. they will look pretty cool, make it look more like an off-road ride, won't help much though if you go over rocks, or do much articulating.
