hey everyone. Can the stock u-bolts be used with the OME lift springs in the rear? my old ones are pretty rusty and i'd rather just get a new set of stock ones unless they won't fit with the taller springs. does anyone know?

The ones that came with mine from www.wheelersoffroad.com were quite a bit longer than stock, and hung down probably 1.5" after being tightened.

As long as the new pack is in fact taller then the factory pack you should be fine.

I didn't measure it, but my 7-leaf Deaver isn't quite as tall as the factory pack. Due to the corrosion on the U-bolts I was never able to really tighten them down enough.

I just got a new set from Wheelers for $27 shipped to my door. THey are longer, but hit them with the saw and no problems.

It’s always a good idea to replace U-bolts when changing leaf springs because the threads stretch and they could fail if they are reused.
