when I did the swap on my runner I had to wire up the rear wheel speed sensors to the old harness for the front sensors and everytime I turn around they are burnt or ripped... Gettin kinda sick of it. Ive got the 3.4l auto and I was wondering how the speedometer works on the tacos? Also wondering if it could be switched over.

the taco speed sensor is on the back of the t-case

when i did my 4x4 conversion, i bought a trans/t-case out of a 97 4 runner that did not have the sensor, just the cover you see in that pic. i bought a sensor and put it in and everything works fine

you should be able to just buy a sensor, stick it in and wire it up
