Donahoes, best on the market. If you want to lift your truck with coilovers, that is basically going to defeat the purpose of them. If you just want cheap height, go spacers. Coilovers are adjustable, but crank them up too much, and you just wasted $950.

I was planning on getting new coilovers and was just wondering which coils to get. I was either looking at getting the fabtech coilovers or saws. I want to get a coilover that makes my truck look higer than stock hiegth.

Peace

depends on what you want to do with the truck, if you actually intend to spend some time on the trail save your money and get some donahoes, if not go with a good ol spacer lift.

Spacers will tend to make stock springs sag faster. If you are mainly on the street, the spacer would be fine. I'm going out on a limb here, and guessing you won't wheel really hard or frequently. There are LOTS of other coilovers that will give you the same benefits as Donahoes or Camburgs, for less money. With a coilover, you can at least adjust your ride height; most have rebuildable shocks in them, and could be revalved if you wanted. The other option is OME springs, which will give some lift. There are a couple different springs available. Not everything on your truck HAS to cost a grand for it to work....

I am planning on going with Donahoes and fitting 33's. I need the coilovers because I just put on an ARB bullbar and in the future a winch. So, the coilovers will handle the weight better. I have talked to many members who have cranked their coilovers up a ways and they still ride a hell of a lot better than stock coils. Just my .02 from what I have read.

Truly depends on what you want to do with the truck...I have spacers now, and they are a cheap effective way of lifting. With cheap you get what you pay for, I wheel 10-20 times a year. My 3" liift is now 2.5". It will settle. Even if you don't wheel much, the ride on the street is noticably stiffer then stock. Coilovers cranked even up to 3"'s will ride better then a spacer lift (even the less expensive coilovers). If you don't plan on wheelin' often and want a ride close to stock, I would suggest looking at some SAW's...the Fabtechs low end ones are not re-buildable. If $ is tight (like me) spacers will do the trick.
