Like this one:

Record stock: idle, slowly go through rpm range, some revs, then hammer down. Repeat with new exhaust. Pretty simple, IMO. Only thing I could have down better was a drive by with each. This gives a good baseline of stock volume compared, same camera, same location, etc.

RIGHT CLICK, SAVE AS...

May only work for Imagestation members, sorry.

I would LOVE to see one like that for a magnaflow and various flowmasters, etc.

If I ever get a muffler, YOU CAN BET I will do another one just like that.

i had one of my magnflow in the link in my sig (which doesnt work right now) but it was just a clip of me driving up a pretty steep hill...still gives you an idea of the sound though. if i ever have time and a camera man, i'll try to get some clips as you described above

I saw yours before it went down.

The key is the before and after part, on the same camera, edited at the same levels, etc. No clip will ever sound as good a real life, but having a recording of stock to compare to gives you a much better idea.

BTW, did mine work for you? And are you an imagestation member?

The easiest way is with a mini dv video camera, then just edit it together with Microsoft Movie Maker, or some other program. Host it, an viola, your done.

Here is a shrunken down version of mine, and on a host that EVERYONE can access.
