I've got 10" travel 5125s on my Taco with about 4"ish in the back, and they are slightly long. I'd advise something around 9", or some kind of shock relocate.

Since these won't work, would the OME rear comfort shocks work with a Deaver 8 leaf since they are made to go with the Dakar rear leafs and would this be a good match?

Are you only limited to the 10" travel? I have the 8.5's on my truck... No issues. You want the part numbers?

You can go with the OME's. I haven't personally dealt with the OME for the rear, but I have with thte 5150 and it rides like a caddy back there.

the 255 valving is for single shock applications (one shock on one side). This is the correct shock.

The other valving 170 I believe, is for dual shock applications. Unless you are running two shocks on each side of your axle, this is the incorrect application.

They're not stiff at all...

I have the BE5-6252-H5 and BE5-6253-H5 5125's with 2.5" deavers. I haven't really done a flex measurement yet (to see if they are to short), but they seem to work. But another alternative is to go with BE5-6253-H5 and BE5-A463-H5 or BE5-A463-H5 and BE5-6248-H5 (but they will be too long as what I can measure from what I have. You will lose uptravel).

From the bilstein web site

and 5150's
