I was on my way to pick up my brother to go take a tour of the Nissan Assembly plant here in Tennessee ( how ironic that i wrecked my Toyota on way to this place) , well stupid me was behind a bunch of cars on a three lane street .This Chevy Sonoma had stopped to turn left and i was three cars behind him. The other cars in front of me wasnt looking and then at the last minute they all locked up their brakes and all i see is a bunch of car-ass's going up in the air , but they managed to stop without hitting the Sonoma. Well , i started to lock it up but then knew i was going to rear-end them , so i go around them all in the center lane to avoid them (i would have took the sidewalk but their were telephone poles). Well i almost got thru but the Sonoma started to turn left and he struck my passenger side rear wheel with his front bumper ! CRASH! We hit hard! Thank God the only damge i got was a sliced tire and a scratcehd rim! I couldnt beleive that my right side inner axle didnt get bent! Didnt even bend my rim! It tore his entire front bumper off down to the frame! I really thought it was the end to my Taco! But then i get the incident taken care of and then go hunt for a new tire and i coudnt believ it ,,,,,, The damn Toyota dealer here had the cheapest price on BF Goodrich's! i still have stock 16" tires , but they were even cheaper than Walmart!Walmart wanted $124 and Toyota had them for $98. So , bad luck and a little good luck .just thought i'd talk about how good the Taco's are in a traffic crash!.

Damn, that is some bad luck and good luck at the same time,, glad to hear you are all right and the truck withstood it all with only that damage..Cant believe wally world was more expensive than the dealer

I was there and it's hard to beleive that all that was hurt was the tire and a scratch on the wheel. The poor guy's Sonoma was torn all up. When I got there the first thing that I saw was the Sonoma and I knew that my brothers Taco was gonna be hurt pretty bad but when I saw it I couldn't beleive it. LUCKY MAN!!!!

yeah , my insurance will take care of his truck .I think i and my brother are the only guys insured in this town since in the last three years i have gotten hit by three different people that had no insurance at all! I had a 98 Nissan 4x4 and got hit by my own cousin and no insurance! I got hit in my 2002 Nissan 4x4 , guy had no insurance! Then i came home to find a drunk soldier had ran into my driveway and hit my police car and bounced off it and then hit my Toyota Tercel and carried it about 20 feet! No insurance! People have no respect!
