Jason, test yours
I can tell you how
there are two pins that you will need to read resistance and if it doesn't match at a certain temp, it is bad

I have no idea of how to read resistance or even test for it. However, Barb at TRDparts4u quoted me a price on a new one for around $80. I also read on the board somewhere that if it's not "shiny" then it's prolly worn out. But I also heard if I don't have a CE light then it's fine. WTF! I don't have a CE light coming on but the wire in it looks pretty dull, not shiny at all.

Jason, you know what a multimeter is right?
