I could have swore that a few weeks ago the TRD quickshifters were only about 150$, now they are 280+ for the same thing.

But not I realize you all were talking about The URD quickshifters I think .. Whats the difference between the TRD and URD?

URD is a motivated , customer energized, designing and actually
making toyota truck performance products, where as TRD was very
close to that until toyota ,contracted out the in-house trd division.
now the TRD products are designed and built by aftermarket venders
example the 4.0 tacoma/fj TRD intake is a AFE II with a red gaskets and
TRD emblem stamped on it. URD is the S**T now . Look to them for your
S/C ,exhaust , tunning ect...................

URD shifters are cheaper because they are a better design that doesn't cost as much to make. The TRD kit all costs more just because it has the TRD brand name. The URD kit is the way to go.

Alright, Thanks alot.. I just always saw TRD and assumed the parts were kinda made from toyota or something.. And I know they would be sky high. Just saw that TRD was abour 300 and URD was 150 and didn't know if there was a big difference between them both or not
