xtreme 1069 vs. MT Classic IIs

Whats the differences between these two rims? they are dead ringers looks wise.

I'm planning on going with 31x10.50x15 on my '04 D-cab. The PC alloys are available with 3 1/4 backspacing the the MT are 3 5/16" backspace.

Will i have any rubbing issues with that little backspacing? Are the PCs and MT both known to fit over the newer tacos caliber?

Which has a more durable finish? My local DOH LOVES to pile on the salt in the winter......

both are priced near the same. so what are the pro/cons to each of them?
thanks

You should post a link to the xtreme '069 wheels. I've searched the web and came up empty. The only xtreme wheels I found were blinging 24" wheels and some x-treme bicycle wheels.

I've looked at those wheels before, and I finally remembered where. They are the same ones that Wheelers sells. They are the wheels that I want to get sometime for my truck. I've seen a few people recommend them on here, and personally I'd probably get them. I'm trying to decide between them and MT Classic IIs. They really do look almost identical (maybe exactly identical, they're very close). I guess in the end I'd decide based on price, but the MT wheels do advertise the steel inserts at the lug holes, so that is something to think about I guess. Probably wouldn't go wrong with either, since a fair number of people have run both.

I don't know how cheap they can be found, but this place has them for $105 each: http://www.4x4cyberstore.com/website/pcw_1069.html

If I could only talk my wife into these, I'd be set. But then there's sliders, two lockers, two sets of gears, the list always goes on, and on....

i found the xtremes for 89.99 each for 15x8s a 4x4groupbuy.com. does anyone know if the PC rims have the steel inserts in the lug holes? that's the only possible diff i see between the xtremes and the MTs.

Neither has a finish on them. Both will look like crap if you drive them through the winter. I have the Classic II's, and they look great. You can pick a product called Zoop seal which seals the metal. It's suppose to work well but you have to reapply it every 6 months, and it's big $$$$. I take off my classic's come winter and just put the stockers back on. The Classic's are forged alloy which makes them really strong compared to cast wheels. Not sure about the P.C's.
