1) is there any, any, any, any rubbing??? if so please specify when and how much.

2) is there any noticable loss of power?

3) Any noticable loss of MPG?

4) what brand and model?

5) Any negatives in your opinion. thanks in advance.

2) Is there any noticable loss of power? Don't know - we only had the stock pieces of crap for an hour.

3) Any noticable loss of MPG? Averaging 15.8 MPG

4) What brand and model? 18,780 miles on a set of GoodYear MT/R's

5) Any negatives in your opinion. No

I also have the 265/75R16 MT/Rs on my truck now. There is some power loss but not much and that just may be because I went to a mud tire. All I know is I wouldn't go with anything taller than a 31" with the stock gear ratio. I used to have 33x12.50s on there and I'm not going to put them back on until they make some gears for the 05s or a strait axel kit.

I just switched to 265/75R16 BFG AT's from 275/70R16 REVO's about a week ago. At the same time, I also switched from my stock TRD off-road alloys to a set of 2006 Tundra TRD off-road package alloys. For the most part, my power feels the same. However, I just got back from a road trip and my MPG has suffered about 1-2 mpg loss. I think the biggest issue is that the REVO's had more of a smoother rolling pattern while my BFG's are more knobby. I do get some slight rubbing but this has more to do with the Tundra alloys having a different offset. My truck actually has a wider stance now, which I prefer. All things considered, I love the look of my truck more now and can tolerate a little loss of MPG. Additionaly, I did take into account the larger diameter of the 265's when calculating my mpg.

New here and read through the below threads but still need a solid answer. Can I run 275/70r16 on my 2011 Tacoma with stock rims and no lift?
Height/diameter wise, no problem. Those are smaller than 265/75s. Width might be an issue, specifically with the UCA. On my 07 I'm running 265/75s on FJ TRD wheels which have close to half an inch less backspace than stock OR rims (I think) which puts the tire farther away from the UCA. I can still rub the UCA in certain off-road conditions (full lock, climbing turn, etc.). 275s are going to be a bit less than half an inch wider than 265s, and on stock wheels closer to the UCA. I'd question if that would work, though Zebra just above you says he was running that size. :dunno:

I find it hilarious that the thread title is 265/75r16 and the replies then throw in at least four other sizes with subtle differences just to confuse things.
