Shade tree with first Tacoma and have replaced rocker cover gaskets and currently struggling with injector adapters (cups) involving removal and installation and next will be new pinion seal.

I left the cups in when I replaced my injectors. It was too much of an issue to replace them and replacing them didn't affect anything.
I took them out with a shop vac and various tools but it was not a fun job and I found that the seating surface for the cup was damaged in cylinder four (2.7) and has two small shards/teeth on the inner part of the seating area that probably will come into contact with the cup upon install. Believe it or not I got pics of the damaged seating suface in 4 and a normal one in cyl 1. I will attempt to upload...
