I don’t see why it wouldn’t be easily adapted over. The tilt mechanism is in the column. Once you disconnect the steering shaft at the firewall the whole thing comes out with 4 bolts. You would need to swap your ignition cylinder over onto the new column unless you want to deal with having separate keys.
