After I installed my UCA on my burg kit then came back from wheeling hte truck at florence I noticed the nut was loose. Over time when your driving the crap out of the truck the bolt will slowly loosen. I torqued the bolt to toyota factory setting which was 87ft pounds.
Also talking to Paul at solomotorsports about tower gussets. He mentioned that a lot of people who drive the crap out of their truck the UCA nut will come loose. By preventing this from happening he said screw a stover nut after the UCA nut so that it doesn't come loose again. My question is should I torque the UCA nut tighter than 87ft pounds to keep it from coming loose again?
