I don't think anything before the MAF or after the CAT is subject to CARB approval as they have no effect on emissions systems. Just the same, many intakes on the market do little if any good and are more likely to actually detract from overall performance.
I suggest that you keep your money in your pocket until you do a little more research.

sorry guys... this was late on a sunday night, and their was no one answering the phones, (obviousely since it was a SUNDAY night). I was asking the question because i wanted to order the intake that night, but I wasn't sure the intake was legal for use in California. Thanks for the responses.
