I can understand that. We were looking for a way to make more cooling and a lighter bumper. I could have just made a hole but that seemed boring.

Were not sure what we will do there we have two plates one like shown and anther one that covers that whole area but looks kinda funny. Were not sure what we will do down there?

We might do one like this for the Tacoma. If this one does well we will do it.

The guys in my shop came up with those because they are allot easier to make than my normal strait eyes.

my vote is for the straight eyes, but I personally like the no eyes light hoop the best. How about a horizontal slats vents for cooling where the "DO" is and maybe a smaller DO under the slats. It will give it kind of a mean look. Oh and will you offer the same textured powdercoating like the rocksliders. Might be kinda hot.

Yes this will have a option of the same kind of powder coating. We might just swap the DO with the winch mount? We were trying to set it out from the rest with out useing the same old slots for air and round holes for air.

I think that once you powder coat it black the DO will not be shinny and say "look at me" as much as it does now being metallic and all. I see what you are saying about the normality of the slots, that is a very easy way out, how about amesh grille that mactches the OE one? not cost effective?

Edit: was there a reason you decided not to match the center section of the bumper up with the center of the grille? was it just a surface area thing, where you wanted more towards the center?

I agree, like i said on the other board I might offer it for 599 with the DO and 659 with out..lol

I'm not sure what you mean about the center section? Do yuo mean the tube? We tried to make those center cut outs like the turn singles so it matched the lines some how.

Persoanlly, I like the straight eyes- it looks tough, like it's scowling. The little round eyes look 'surprised' & meek... like it just got goosed.

I also think the laser-cut DO in the front is cool as shit...not only a great logo design, but it really differentiates it from the crowd.

Poo on whoever wouldn't be proud to pimp yer stuff!
